When the president of the Fraternal Order of Police asked Halbrooks how she would
work with the DPD, given her last two years of trashing them, she responded,
"I've been overwhelmed by the number of law enforcement officers who approved of
the job I did with the Daniel Wade Moore case." I'd like for her to name just one.
And her husband and Roger Payne don't count.
As for her concern for victims, consider this quote from her to the Bar Association:
"If the evidence sheds the victim, the victim's husband and their friends in a negative
light that is not the concern of the defense attorney." Even if that evidence has
absolutely nothing to do with the case, and is protected by law. Do you think a victim
should actually TRUST HER with sensitive personal information???
And as for her dedication to the truth, consider the fact she lied repeatedly about the
"daily male visitor," the DNA test results, and the computer. She lied about the DPD to
accuse them of misconduct. She lied about the opposing counsel to accuse THEM of
misconduct, e.g. the "bloody footprint."

Decatur Police Department.
