DWM told Sparky that Mrs. Tipton's throat had been cut and that she was stabbed several times in the heart????????? And, this was BEFORE any details were released??????? WOW!!
Has DWM ever said WHO was downstairs??? Or he just says the entire thing was a lie??? I guess he expects us to believe that he got "lucky" when he guessed how the victim was murdered! WOW!!
So, VRA...brief summary so far
#1. paving guy see a thin, tall brown hair guy ask if anyone was home...the guy SAID HE WAS THERE TO WORK ON ALARM.
DWM has alarm company tool box, right? It was found, correct?
#2. In his "bogus" confession DWM knows EXACTLY how the victim was killed. He never offers another person as the murderer, he just says that his confession was a lie. Now, if I remember correctly--he confessed to the murder so that he wouldn't get in trouble (go to jail) for writing a few bad checks, right?????? (Am I the ONLY person that thinks that is an ABSOLUTELY INSANE excuse??????) Let's see---go to jail for a few weeks for checks or admit to BRUTALLLY murdering an INNOCENT mother and wife??? How long did he have to think about that one????

Howard Godbee, owner of alarm company, testified the toolbox had been missing or stolen from his office. That toolbox was found at Moore's apartment when he was picked up for questioning and subsequently arrested for crack cocaine paraphernalia. Later the same day Moore told lie after lie to the cops and stabbed himself 16 times when questioned about the Karen Tipton murder.

Decatur Daily reported Karen was murdered ON THE FIRST FLOOR. Karen's throat was cut 4 times and she was stabbed in the heart 1 time. Perhaps you should read Chris Bell's article in the Huntsville Times just days after the murder...might give you some insight on what was revealed soon after the murder. By the way, Daniel, like his dad, is an avid reader. david might enlighten you, should you ask, about the fact that it's not uncommon for people to 'confess' to crimes they have not committed; he probably also knows why people do such things. One thing I did notice was that it was never revealed in court that just previous to telling his uncle that he had been at the 'affluent psychriatrists' wife's house' Daniel said he had been at a house in Cullman when a man was murdered. Another of Daniel's lies (verified by Dwight Hale).
Ya'll are desperately grasping...

Early press reports did NOT reveal that the murder victim was stabbed several times in the heart. Daniel Moore couldn't have gotten that from reading newspapers.

It was found, all right, and taken into police custody where it was supposedly tagged an maintained in the evidence room. During one of the motion hearings, they revealed that the evidence tag had somehow been removed, the AEA stickers had somehow been removed and they could find 'hide nor hair' of either...while in police custody... in the evidence room the toolbox somehow lost its place and wound up nowhere near the other evidence related to this case; said the cops considered claiming it for thier own use. And who knows if perhaps maybe they did (make use of the tools and box).
 Our police do an 'excellent' job of handleing and maintaining evidence, don't they? Makes you wonder about other 'evidence' that may have gotten 'misplaced' or altogether lost, doesn't it? Think, perhaps, a hair from Daniel's underwear may have gotten 'misplaced'? And, somehow wound up at the forensics lab? Hummm.......

Mr. Dill addressing the jury: "You heard from Martin Scott Lane, came in here, flown down from Michigan -- excuse me, from Illinois. One of the pavors who's out on the paving crew. You heard that on or around that date that he was working by himself around the Tipton residence and that a tall skinny man with long brown hair came up and asked if there was anybody home at the Tipton residence, indicated that he worked for the alarm company or had worked for the alarm company and he left some tools out there."

I don't live in Decatur, and won't be attending the City Council meeting. But you could post the article here. Post the part that reveals that the murder victim was stabbed several times in the heart. Go ahead and prove that Daniel Moore got his information from the newspaper, rather than from his direct knowledge of the murder. Post the entire article if it helps to prove your point.
Truth is that Daniel Moore's confession to his uncle contained detailed, accurate information about the victim's wounds and the cause of death, information that was NOT published in the local press. Go ahead and prove me wrong on this. Go ahead and POST your article.
