I've had several people ask where the inscription on Karen's
headstone came from.  It's part of a longer quote I received
in a sympathy card:

"Spring will come again to the valley.
Flowers will open on the mountains.
And the Shepherd will return for His sheep."

There are a lot of victims' pages on the Internet; some are
available through links on my "victims' links page."  Today I
came across one that disturbed me a great deal.  If you want

It's not Hollywood, though, so be careful.
 It's real.
I've been reminded that, in addition to Karen, there
have been at least two other women killed in Decatur
by crack addicts in the time I've lived here, and I'm sure
there must be more.    It seems to be a relatively
common cause of homicide, at least for Decatur women.
The grapevine tells me Sheryl Marsh and the Decatur Daily are planning another
front-page TIPTON CASE story for their paper, maybe tomorrow.  I'm sure it'll be
tacky as possible, and will undoubtedly come directly from Catherine Halbrooks.  I
predict they'll quote liberally from Thompson's response (which is nothing but
Thompson quoting the defense lawyers' ridiculous claims), stating the claims as fact.  
The implication, I'm sure, will be "The judge said it.  It must be true."  I can't imagine
they'll address the fact Thompson has never explained HOW the timing of release of
alleged evidence allegedly withheld actually prejudiced Moore's defense.   Or any of
the FACTS related to any of the claims.

It's easy to predict:  the story, being tacky as possible, will attack all the defense
lawyers' enemies--the prosecutors (the State of Alabama), the victims (Karen and David
Tipton, families, and friends), and the police (Investigator Mike Pettey, Lieutenant
Barry Hamilton, and many others).

I also understand Catherine Halbrooks is critical of our   demeanor   at Karen's funeral.

Without a doubt,
It'll be shocking and offensive!!!
Maybe they'll have a shocking new witness!!!
Maybe they've subpoenaed cartman!!!
