BULLETIN BOARD WEEK 6
Today, July 16, 2003, the website passed 37,500 hits.  The fan club page accounts for a
thousand of those hits.  It makes me happy that over 300 people have looked at all
seventeen pages of Karen's pictures.
Thompson-Minus 13 Days and Counting
It is estimated that half of violent crimes are
never reported.  One of the biggest reasons
is their clear understanding that the legal
system will not protect them.

You might remember the first man ever sent
to prison for stalking in north Alabama got
out of jail and killed the woman he was
stalking, and her lawyer.

Another reason is that they see how victims
are treated in court--by defense lawyers, and
by the press.  They are attacked.

It is as if the victims are the ones on trial.
Just like in the so-called Tipton trial.

What's extraordinary to me is how many
people seem to think it's normal.  And never
consider it could happen to them.
12 more days to go, and then we'll start waiting for
the CCA's next decision.

"The Tipton Trial" or the "Tipton Case" is a
misnomer, created by the press.  It is also a clear sign
of the effects of four years of propaganda.  If they
want to talk about Karen Tipton's murder, then I
suggest they call it the Karen Tipton Murder.  If they
want to talk about the legal proceedings, then there's
only one name for it:  The State of Alabama v Daniel
Wade Moore.

I understand it:  the press needs to call it the Tipton
Case so the public will know they're referring to the
mass of exploitative stories they've done on the
Tiptons, as opposed to the man who was suspected,
investigated, arrested, arraigned, tried, convicted, and
sentenced to death in the SOA v dwm.
The management of the Decatur Daily is
happy with the increased circulation from
the Tipton Story.  They want more like it.
Judge Glenn Thompson has 11 more days to explain his March ruling to the Court of
Criminal Appeals.  I presume his response will be a matter of public record--so the public
will have a chance to see which (if any) of the defense's reasons for new trial he
endorses.  It will be VERY interesting to see what he can come up with...
